Well Well Well , No one expected it but it has happened . As a Manchester United fan dont expect me to wirte to many good thing for the gunners but they did manage to beat Real Madrid in there 1-0 at the bearnebaou which no other British team had done previously .  The only goal of the match was scored by Thierry Henry who showed his skill by beating 2 defenders and whizzing the ball past Iker Casilias . Frankly , The match was dominated by Arsenal for longer periods of the game and they could have scored once or twice more ( glad they didnt ) .   Now the second leg at highbury looks promising as Real Madrid will try there best to beat arsenal , and i think they will manage to do it .

In the other Fixtures Benfica recorded a surprise 1-0 win over Liverpool , Lyon beat PSV 1-0 , rangers managed to get a 2-2 draw at home with villareal to keep there Champions league hope alive . In the other main results Barcelona beat Chelsea at stamford bridge 2-1 and as usual Jose Mourinho had someone to blame for the loss , and this time the spear fell on the young and talented barca forward Lionel Messi . Mourinho accused him of acting to get Del Horno sent off for a tackle early on in the game . But the dispite the sending off Chelsea played very well and matched barca for the rest of the game . Wereder Bremen came from 2-1 behind to beat Juventus 3-2 . Ajax squandered a 2 goal lead and drew 2-2 with INTER . With all the games hanging in balance the return fixtures look quite promising and i am hoping for some twist .
