30 March 2006 9 Comments

Came across this Player while searching for a player to play “.bik” files . It is quite a good player and converter though i havent tried the converter but i tried playing .bik files and they played ok . This is a good tool for the gamers who like to keep Videos of some of there fav games which are encoded in .bik format .

So for every gamer out there who wants to play the .bik files provided in the games , you need this .

Download here

I havent tried the converter yet . When i do i will keep you posted .

      Here is a solution:
      Download Nova Software Extractor. http://www.volny.cz/nova-software/
Run the program, hit Select, choose any .bik file(s) from the game, in sub menu Formats check the box BIK, and click Start. After a quick scan it will show you all the files that were found, select them and Extract.
Now they all can be played with RAD Video Tools.
And one more thing: since it’s not really possible to watch all artworks and illustrations (which are also in Bink Video format) because the video is too short (it’s only 2 frames long), then you can convert them into BMP or PNG picture formats using the same RAD Video Tools.
