Yahoo is developing a new version of Messenger for Windows Vista . And its interface looks awesome .
Some of the new features are
Keep conversations organized by dragging and dropping them into one tabbed window
Flexible Interface which can be changed instantly
New Emotions , alert sounds
Automatic group creation in contact list based on interest.
The interface looks a lot nicer than the previous versions and some coll features are also being added . Lets hope they release something similar for XP users too .

The UI looks cool. But I hope they first improve its functionality. Yahoo messengers sucks big time while connecting through proxy. My institute uses HTTP proxy. Every now and then I have trouble sending IMs. Sometimes i don’t receive messages but the other person doesn’t know that because they still show in the window! This is just one of the hitches.
Now that is sharp looking! I like that… I am getting anxious for my $10.00 Vista CD from Dell! Hurry!!! LOL….
@Sharique
I also use it through a proxy in college and you are right about the point . Lets hope they fix it too .

Man , you got an awesome Laptop config . So its just a matter of days for you ..
It looks sweet. I want it.
Quite nifty. Too bad I won’t be upgrading to Vista any time soon. XP would be the last Windows OS I’ll be using at home, we have our Ubuntu Linux and mac Mini instead.
Looks awesome. I can’t wait to get Vista on my computer!
How about the same cool Vista Interface in Y! Messenger in XP.
It would be wonderful if we have a similar one for XP .
Want the same for XP!
