Top Tip! Blogging Mistake i am trying to correct
I am not an expert blogger . I have been blogging for around a year and have made a lot of mistakes along the way , but the good thing is that i always try to learn from my mistakes . There are a lot of things which i could have done differently along the way . Here i am going to mention a single one.
Earlier while writing a post , i didn’t include any media contents such a images or videos in my post. Initially it didn’t matter much but now when i think about it i feel that it made my blog posts look a little bit dull . Now as a reader a do feel that incorporating images or videos that is relevant to the post helps capture the reader’s attention as well as imagination , and it also makes the site look good . Now i have tried to correcr this and m recent posts and will continue to get rid of this mistake .

And lets not forget that you can go back and add images and videos into posts that you have already published. It is never too late to revise or edit a post. There are so many people that will visit your individual post pages from the search engines and never even see your actual home page. Nice realization, and it isn’t a mistake, because it is something you have come to realize as an enhancement, so now it is a matter of finding which posts are your most viewed and make them look nice!

You are right Garry , i will definately do it .
In fact, the only images I can find are the ones at the MBL widget on the right. Not just any image, but the right image could add color to what you are saying (perhaps add in a little advice or so), and readers find it more interesting to connect.
To be honest Madhur you have made the right decision at the right time because for me Images are treats

Images do make a difference… I learned that awhile ago… Keeping things simple is one thing… keeping things too simple can be boring. But on that note, I tend to have a similar style like Madhur. I love to write, and I love to stress points and…. did I mention that I enjoy to write?
So we both have an opportunity to add some bling into our posts, because I am the same way. I have to remind myself to go hunt for an image that relates to a post I wrote. For me, it doesn’t come second nature.
Google video is fun to use, especially if you use the 300×250 adsense code. Some times it’s even hard for me to tell the two apart (when the Adsense code generates a video ad of course).
I think Garry C. has a point, images are a nice addition to a blog, otherwise it gets boring.
I was wondering how old your blog is? I see a PR 0 and a myriad of posts, were you running on a free blogging package and converted to a self hosted one? If so, that can be regarded as a blogging error we can learn from ( i did the same mistake in the past with a web site)
Yeah.. Good images surely attract readers…

Yeah , i have been thinking about it for a while now . But due to college and stuff , dont get much time to work on theme , lets see if i can come up with it in the summer holidays .
Oh great initiative! I will write about my reason of theme change.
Whenever I write a post I try to incorporate some images, so as to attract readers. Sometimes it happens that the reader may not in a mood to read the complete post, but if there is an attractive image, he may be tempted to read more. This is what I felt. Anyways we all are in the process of learning from mistakes.
I’ve noticed, with my own posts, that long text-only posts seem like a real turn-off, especially for the first time visitors. Having some image included breaks the monotony, and the same heavy posts begins to look a lot more manageable and attractive. So when I don’t have any media for a post, I still try to include some stock photo that goes along with post’s theme.

I make use of images in almost all of my posts. I know I love reading articles with images in them, so I include them in my own articles. It describes what I want to say much better.
It’s an excellent point. Blogs lend themselves to scanning content and and visual content can help capture the would be reader. Fortunately, this is something I’ve managed to largely avoid. That said, I’ve made plenty of other mistakes.
