By Madhur Kapoor on May 26, 2007 in Tech

Just look at the beauty above. Intel’s latest prototype codenamed ” Intel Mobile Metro Notebook ” is just .7 inches thick and weights just 2.25 pounds . Even though it will be slim , it will be packed with Intel’s fastest and efficient components and will be available by the end of the year .

It is expected to have a battery life of 14 hours with connectivity options like Wi-Fi , EV-DO and Wi-Max along with a flash memory hard drive . Looking at the design , it is sure going to be expensive but it will definately going to give the competitors a run for there money along with changing the laptop world in some way or the other .

A rival for the MacBook?

Wow! I wonder how strong it will be. I’ve head stories of the 17″ MacBookPro that if you twist the body, it will snap the motherboard. I wonder how delicate this one will be!

Oh my gosh, that is incredible, way thinner than a MacBook. I wonder how well it will work…

Wow, it just sunk in that it will have 14 hours of battery life. Is it accurate? That’s an incredibly long time for a battery to last.
