Enable Slow-Motion Aero Animations in Vista
By Madhur Kapoor on Jun 13, 2007 in Vista, Windows
This is an interesting hack for Vista through which you can enable “Slow Motion” animation that will work if you are holding the “shift” key while minimizing , maximizing , closing a window.
This will work if you can run the Windows Aero glass theme . To make this work , just download this file . Unzip it and duble click it to add it to the Windows Registry . Two new values will be added to the registry . Just restart and the effect will be visible .

Nice trick- stumbled.
I always recommend that before doing a registry change you’ll backup the registry (i put together a simple procedure for that at http://www.avirtualexit.com/2007/04/13/how-to-backup-the-windows-registry/ and you are more than welcome to refer it in your posts).
