Playing .rm files in Winamp

Sometimes we might get frustrated with .rm files if we have to use different music players to play these files. An option would be to use a rm to mp3 converter to convert or real player files to mp3 so that we can play them on our favourite music players like Windows Media Player or Winamp .
There is a way , a little codec that enables you to play .rm files in Winamp also. After installing Winamp and real player , install this codec . After that you will be able to play your .rm files in Winamp without the use of Real Player.

Very nice! I’ve been looking for a solution to this for a long time. Thanks buddy.
Ah! that’s just wonderful. Its good to keep less software installed in the system. Although, I use K lite media codec for any other extension which winamp can’t play
Nice theme….too
I share the same idea with TipsoSaurus. I’m also using KLite. But winamp still become my best companion in playing musics.
Btw, you change your theme to illacrimo? Nice!

Thanks for sharing this. But I wished installing Real Player was not a requirement.
@sindhu
Thanks for the link . It is really helpful.
Nice find, it was really useful
I thought that real media encoding is a properitory and needs a real player to play .rm files. Is thin add-in released by real Player
