Wavosaur

Wavosaur is a free sound editor which can be used to modify wave, mp3 and various diffrent types of sound files . Though this small utility is just 450Kb in size , it contains a list of cool features . It contains various features which lets you cut , copy, paste audio files , loop files , record file , do some advanced effect processing and so on.

When you open any audio file , the output gets displayed in a wave like format to which you can add a host of features which include

  • cut , copy , paste , insert , mix , trim , crop etc
  • Convert from Mono -> Stereo , Stereo -> Mono
  • Change the volume or normalize certain parts , insert silence in between
  • Use the fade in / fade out effect

It also has a cool and simple interface .You can also edit multiple file at once through its Multiple Document Interface . Apart from these it also contains some advanced features which you can learn about here . Overall a cool and simple utility to modify and edit your sound files . The best thing is that it is a freeware . What do you guys think about it ?

      Hey! I’ve been using Audacity to edit audio files, but I think this one sounds good. Will try it. And it’s just 450kb :shock: that’s interesting.

      till now i was using the cracked version of coolmp3.. to cur certain part of mp3 for ringtones … Was searching for some small free utility for some time. hope this will perform as per expectations … thanks for sharing this :D
