Master Chief waxed at Madame Tussauds
Whenever we hear or think of Madame Tussauds , we think of all the great personalities , movie stars , sports star , that have been immortalized there in the form of Wax Statues . But this time someone special is going to take the place at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas .
For the first time in its 250 year history , Madame Tussauds is going to have a video game character . And the lucky one is none other than Halo’s Master Chief . Master Chief , a epitome of strength and victory will also be making history due to this accomplishment . This clearly shows the popularity of the Halo series in the world , the third installment of which is going to be released on September 25th, 2007 .
The life size figure of Master Chief has been developed at Madame Tussauds studios in London for the Las Vegas attraction . The figure will be around 7.2 inches tall and will weight around 275 lbs. The figure was created by 10 artists in around 892 hours of hard work . Around 1000 pounds of clay have been used in the statue.
“Master Chief is the first computer gaming personality immortalized by Madame Tussauds in our 250 year history — recognizing the ‘celebrity’ of the Halo series that we had to capture”, maintained Adrian Jones, General Manager for Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.
