SnapFish India launched by HP

HP has launched its online web photo sharing service Snapfish in India. For those unfamiliar with Snapfish , the service offers professionally developed digital camera photo prints, free online unlimited photo storage, free online photo sharing and free photo .
The best thing about this is that you can get your photos printed in various sizes and delivered to your door step just by few mouse clicks. You can also get your favourite photos printed in TShirts , mouse padsĀ , mugs, key rings and calender. The price starts at Rs 2.95 for a normal 4 x 6 print and can go upto Rs 399 for a printed shirt. Do you use any such service , if so then do share it with me ?

Madhur-
At INR 2.95 for a standard print and with unlimited photo storage this service is cool.

Looking at the costs of prints & features, Snapfish is really a good service to give a try.

Hmm do you have to be in India in order to use this service??? And can they deliver within India??

Cost wise, this service looks great. But sadly, there is no such service in Pakistan. I’ll still have to wait for it.

i do not recommend snapfish india (snapfish.co.in). they took my order for photo-gift (mug & keychain) and fled away with the money, no email for confirmation or anything. customer service is only thru email which doesn’t work. yet to receive response after eight days. cannot cancel either because nobody replies to your email after submitting the form. there is no phone no. or any individual’s email address either where to contact. Stay away from snapfish!! They fleeced me of my money, but i won’t let that happen to others.

I guess there there are pretty good other services available. eyaadein.com, snapgalaxy.com, merasnap.com, rangeelaphotos.com. These services have competitive rates .. Important thing to look for is quality of paper and chemicals used for printing. I would not go for service that does not mention the paper (Kodak, Fuji Crystal Archive, Sony etc) used for printing. Services that do not mention paper and chemical quality means prints are developed with cheaper paper and lower DPI (which means low quality prints - remember cheaper is not always better). This is just my 2 cents.

Hey Prabin,
I’ve not seen SnapFish USA but, if you see my review carefully, you’ll see that SnapFish India does provide borders for the prints.
