I agree that the price is a little hefty. They messed up with the pricing for the iPhone when it released and then had to reduce it much to the frustration of early adopters, so I guess Apple still hasn't learned how to be competitive price-wise. Undoubtedly, like all things do, they'll come down in price at some point.
