However I don’t think we can expect a lot from Call of Duty 5 as Infinity Ward, who made the COD games till now are not attached to it anymore.

Actually, I remember reading that Activision wants to bring out a COD game every year. Since the development cycle of a game is min 18 months, both Infinity Yard and Trearch will be making the game alternatively. Hence we would get a COD game from Infinity Yard next year.
