I really didn't see what it offered over the current Wiimote and it seems that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/16/nintendo-motionplus-hands-on-blah/" rel="nofollow">Engadget has the same opinion</a> and they actually played with the thing. Boy did it seem that Nintendo was impressed with the MotionPlus.
