Create Post-it notes on your desktop with Stickies
Stickies is a desktop notes program using which you can create Post-it notes on your desktop. Even though it is small, it contains loads of features which lets you customize your sticky notes. You can customize the Sticky note from font to colour to behaviour. On launching the program, a yellow pad will get added to your taskbar. Double clicking it will create a new note while right clicking on it will bring up the options.
It has a lot of options to customize your stickies. You can change the colour, lock the text, make it transparent or add skins. Alarms can also be associated with sticky note. You can either set the date or time or even set the interval. You can even make a sticky note sleep for some duration during which it will not be visible. Not only that you can even attach it with a folder or a file so they are visible only when the particular file/folder is open. You can even use it on a LAN environment to send notes to each user. And the notes will remain in the same position even after computer reboot.
This is a very good desktop notes program. With such a small size, it is hard to imagine that it contains such a large number of features. And it even works with Windows Vista and consumes very little memory. Which application do you use for your Post-It notes ?

I’ve been using these already and think they are great! I usually write favorite songs I hear on the radio or confirmation numbers when I call/order things.
