Tweet Files with Drop.io

17 August 2008 One Comment

drop.io Drop.io has recently introduced a new feature which allows users to post updates on twitter whenever they add a file to there storage folders. So after every time you make or remove a ‘drop’, changes can be sent to your twitter account.

What I like about this service is that you can even assign it to specific drops and not all of them. If you want to keep some file information private or don’t want to sharer that with Twitter. It will also work with any file type supported by Drop.io, including messages left by phone using Drop.io’s free voice recording tool. Users can also subscribe to alerts via SMS or even by RSS feed.

Have you tried Drop.io. Which file storage service do you use ?
