Some of its features are

- Rectangular selection (Alt+Mouse)
- Brace matching, auto indent, long line marker, zoom functions
- Auto indentation

It is a great utility for every user and especially programmers.

I still prefer EditPlus although it is not free.

Have you ever tried Notepad++? It has all of the features that you mentioned for Notepad 2 but also has tabs to have multiple files open.

I use Programmer’s Notepad. Never heard of this one though. May be worth a try.
