Resize Images with FastStone Photo Resizer

12 September 2008 3 Comments

Though I have reviewed several Image Resize tools here from High Quality Photo Resizer, Batch Image Resizer and online image resizers, I am always looking to try out new utilities. FastStone Photo Resizer is a nice freeware that can convert, resize, rename, crop, rotate change images in Batch Mode.

FSResizerScreenShot

It supports most of the popular formats such as JPEG, BMP, TIFF, GIF etc. You can also use it to Watermark and rename your images in Bulk. Though it doesn’t have any image effects, you can use it to crop, resize, rotate, add text and apply a few color effects.

The speed of resizing is pretty fast. A nice application to use if you are not looking for any advanced features. And it is free for home use and supports Windows XP and Vista and it also has a portable version.
