Photobie : Free Image Editor

Photobie is a free and powerful image editor. There are a lot of free image editors out there but Photobie offers a lot of functions which are normally not found in free editors. It has a lot of embedded filters and also supports Photoshop filters plugins. It also has an advance screen capture tool and can also create high quality gif animations.

It comes with a nice set of image filters, channel adjustments that you can apply to your image to make it better. It comes with an image browser that supports full screen slide show capability to view and work with multiple images. And within its image browser, you can find batch resize and rotation tools. It also comes with Screen Capture tools that can be very helpful. It will have a small notification icon in the bottom right of the desktop. Right Clicking on it will bring many options to perform all kind of screen capture. You can also assign hotkeys which you can use to capture active window screen without cursor. The support for Photoshop 8BF filters is a great addition.

Photobie is a great option for anyone who is looking for a free image editors. Along with image editing, it also performs a variety of helpful tasks.
