Toneshop

Who doesn’t like to customize there mobile phones with ringtones. ToneShop is a free utility that allow you to create your very own ringtones from audio files that are compatible with a lot of mobile phones including iPhone. Using it, you can quickly create a ringtone from any audio file that it supports.

The software is simple and easy to use. You just have to load the audio file, select the parts of the audio file that will be used as ringtone. You can either do it by using the trackbar or entering manually. You can then preview it, select the output format and click on the ‘Convert’ button and you are done. It supports WAV, WMV, M4A and MP3 as the input file format and MP3, MMF, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, M4A-AAC, WAV, iPhone’s M4R etc as the output file format. You can then transfer the ringtone to your mobile phone using any method such as USB, Bluetooth etc.

I feel that Cropping tool could have been improved but still it is a great and easy to use tool to create ringtones quickly. It supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista.

I used to cut the songs with one software and used to convert with other.

This looks handy as we can do both.. Thanks.. Will try it for sure..

I’m definitely going to have to give this one a go. My mom has been dying for a Star Trek ringtone that she can’t seem to find anywhere. :) And I am in need of an update from Finger Eleven’s Paralyzer.
