Make Web browsing more Social with Weblin

17 October 2008 2 Comments

Weblin

Weblin plans to take social networking to a new level as it makes the experience of surfing websites more social. Or it can make sites such as Facebook , MySpace etc more social by letting you discover new people. By using Weblin, users can create an avatar that travels with them everywhere as they move from site to site. If there are other Weblin users on a website that you are visiting, you will be able to see them and strike up a conversation.

So basically your avatar will be following you across the internet. You can choose from a variety of avatars and can even upload one from your own picture. There will also be a contact list which shows you if the contacts you make are online or not. There is also a flirting feature and you can even send virtual gifts to your friends.

Weblin seems to be a very innovative concept. If more and more users use it, then it can really be a good social networking platform. I would be following its progress in the future.

Weblin is persistent malware that allows adware downloads. It is also very difficult to remove, on the level of a persistent virus! http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=1217653 Please stop recommending it.
