Whenever you enter any username or password in Internet Explorer, it gives you an option to save it so you don’t have to type it again and again. IE PassView is a utility that can be used to view those passwords in case you forget them.

This small and free utility does not require any installation. Just run it from any where and it will display the stored passwords. It can recover three type of passwords – AutoComplete Passwords, HTTP Authentication Passwords and FTP Passwords. However you have to be careful if you store any passwords in IE as anyone can see them easily if they use this utility.

It can work with IE 7, beta version of IE 8 along with older versions such as IE 4, 5 and 6. It is just 41Kb in size.

      Nice tool.

But I always wonder, why was it not a part of IE?

IE always have its own rules and terms :)
