One of the main features that almost all the latest browser like IE 8 , Chrome etc have in common is the “Private” browsing mode or the “Porn” mode. However, Firefox 3 was missing this feature and Firefox 3.1 beta 2 which will be released for the general public soon will have this feature.

Private Browsing will enable users no the leave a trace of there browsing activities. To use this feature, users will have to go to Tools –> Private Browsing. The Privacy mode will then start and nothing a user does will be saved by Firefox. To close the Private Browsing mode, users can just uncheck the Private Browsing option and the non private window will then open.

The mode will be there in the final release of Firefox 3.1.
