Win a Copy of FixTunes - Fix Your mp3 tags and add Album Art

FixTunes

If your music library has a lot of songs with missing information such as Artist name, Album name or Album art, then you probably would like to check out this post. FixTunes is a program that can fix your music library and fill missing tags and information. Be it a misspelled song name, it will find the problem and solve it by looking up the information on the Internet.

FixTunes1

It works with your iTunes library and can fix it quickly. On running the application, you get three modes “Fix One by One”, “Fix Automatically” and “Find Duplicates” . The “Fix Automatically” option will automatically fix the songs with a best guess. However I will recommend using “Fix One by One”. It might be a bit time taking but you can review each item and then decide whether to fix it or now. It will go through your library one by one, look up the information on its online database and will display the result which will contain all the info including the album artwork. It will also show you the accuracy of each result displayed. You can then decide whether to fix the song or skip it. Your tracks should have some information for it to work. It wont work if your tracks are named as “Track 1” or “Track 2”.

It might take some time to fix all your songs but it is worth the wait if you have all the info for all your songs. Your collection will then become much more organized. The program can also work without iTunes. The program costs $24.95 and can work on Windows XP/Vista and OSX.

    1. Madhur, Thanks for the review! I wanted to reach out to you also and let you know that we’ve received a ton of support and that I think you’ll love FixTunes too. For us, other programs were complicated and time consuming and required installation of a media player that we were not familiar using…that’s why we built FixTunes, so that you can use the media player that you currently have and still fix your music up the way you like. Let me know what you think.
Send me an email at support@cloudbrian.com if you have any questions!

    2. Just to update you…I misspelled the email address and support@fixtunes.com would be the best way to get in touch with us!

Sorry about that, please let me know if there is anything we can do to get FixTunes updating your messy music library.

    5. Sounds like a great opportunity. I’ve just had some seriously bad luck attempting to re-tag all my music (ended up with me having to reinstall my computer).
