Most of the Zip files that you download contains DIZ and NFO files with them. They are like text files that can be viewed with notepad but sometimes it won’t display the ASCII art perfectly. GetDiz is free application that has been especially designed to view such files.

It can also server as a nice replacement for notepad. We can edit any text file with this and it can even display ASCII art in DIZ and NFO files correctly. It can also save text, nfo and diz files as gif images. It is small and fast to use. So you can also use it in place of default Windows notepad.

It is a freeware and works on Win9x/2K/XP/Vista.
