Here is what you have to do
- Go to Technet Downloads Page. Sign in at the Top Right with your windows live id
- In the same page , type the following in the address bar “https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/gcs.aspx?Product=tn-win7-64-ww&LCID=1033″ (for 64 bit key ) or “https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/gcs.aspx?Product=tn-win7-32-ww&LCID=1033″ ( for 32bit key ). If you get an error, try this a few times.
- If it doesn’t work, try clearing the cache and temp files of your browser

Should try it out to see if it’s any better than Vista. I am totally frustrated with my Vista laptop’s performance and my XP desktop is yet to be restored properly.

Sweet, I had the Windows 7 ISOs from a friend, but no way to get the license key, as the MS page wasn’t working. This is a great workaround!
