Diary

Many of us like to maintain a personal diary where we can write about our experience which are quite personal and we don’t want to share it with anyone else. Some people do prefer using a notebook diary for that purpose but using a computer can be thought of as a modern way. Efficient Diary is a free personal diary software using which you can maintain a diary of your personal events and ideas. It has a lot of features which makes maintaining diary a lot of fun.

The interface is simple and easy to use. It has a powerful rich text editor with editing capabilities similar to Microsoft Word. You can even insert tables, emotions, picture, background color and attachment in your entries.  The diary entries can be managed by date or by hierarchical grouping. You can specify an emotion or some icon with each entry or you can also specify the importance of each entry. A powerful search feature ensures that you find each entry quickly. All your entries are encrypted and are password protected so that only you can view your personal diary. All the entries can also be exported to rich text format or normal text format.

It is a very nice software in which you can store your experiences each day and easily recall them in the future. It is a freeware and works on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista.

Looks like a pretty nifty piece of software. I like the fact that you can use more than text in your entries. :)
