Create HTML Indexes of Your Directory with Dirhtml

13 February 2009 No Comment

dirhtml

Dirhtml is a free tool that can be used to create index.html files from a directory list using the graphical user interface or the command line. We can also include our very own HTML code of our own design in the generated file.

The small program does include a few options which can be customized. The index file can be customized to select the data we wish to include, headings to use, date format, skipped folders, files to exclude etc. It can be used to create individual index pages for sub folders or they can be combined into a single page or be used to create a frame based website.

The program is very small and might come handy sometimes. It works on almost all the version of Windows.
