RenPhoric

If you want to rename a lot of files and folders, doing so manually can take a lot of time. RenPhoric is a file and folder renaming tool which can let you rename files and folders quickly. It uses the power of regular expression so it can be very helpful for users who have an idea about regular expressions.

Using it, you can perform search and replace on a directory listing similar to what you performed on a text file. With the power of regular expressions, you can organize files into directories based on there names or you can also add prefix and suffix to a lot of files at once. It also gives you a preview of the replacement that it is going to perform. Even if you make some mistake, you have an option of cancelling your changes.

The program is a freeware and is mostly for advanced users with knowledge of Regular Expressions. It works on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
