Record Skype Conversations with Skype Call Recorder

14 April 2009 2 Comments

Skype Call Recorder

Skype Call Recorder is a free utility which can record both ends of your Skype conversations easily and store them in the mp3 format. I tried recording a Skype conversation with Windows Sound Recorder and other similar application but it didn’t work. Thanks to this free utility, you can easily record both ends of a Skype configuration.

This free utility can record Skype Calls, Conferences, SkypeOut Calls as well as Skype Online Number. The program will sit in the system tray and will monitor the Skype calls. To record a call, simple press the record button and the call will be recorded and saved in mp3 format. The program doesn’t offer many features. You can change the recording mode between “Mono”, “Stereo” or “Joint Stereo” and select the recording Bit Rate along with the folder where the recorded calls will be saved.

The program is free and runs on Windows 2000/XP/Vista and requires .Net Framework 2.0 or above.
