  2. Check out CrashPlan- it’s also free and backs up to multiple destinations – onsite, offsite, and online. It’s the only one that lets you backup offsite for free to a friends computer.

    Id recommend Bitser for simple personal data backups, its simple, can encrypt/compress with AES and doesnt use a proprietary format to store the data.. plus it can double as an archiver and open iso,rar,zip,7z etc..
