Comodo System Cleaner is a suite of free utilities that allow you to optimize the performance of your XP/Vista system and make it more cleaner and secure. The suite of applications includes a Registry Cleaner, disk cleaner, privacy cleaner, auto run manager and some tweaking features. It will scan your system thoroughly and will remove all the useless data thus making your computer more efficient.

The interface is simple and all the basic things are listed there. The basic summary screen gives you an option to Clean Registry, Clean Privacy or Clean Disk and you can select further categories from the left hand area. The Registry Cleaner will scan the registry for invalid values and keys and will eliminate all the invalid things found. If you have uninstalled some software and something in the registry is still left, it will remove it. It will also create a backup of your registry before making any changes so that you can also go back if things don’t work out well. You can also schedule regular registry cleanups. The Privacy cleaner can be used to eliminate user tracks and wipe sensitive data beyond recovery. The traces eliminated are specific to each section. It includes a file wiper which removes data beyond recovery.

The Disk Cleaner allows you to remove all the useless data from temporary locations. It can remove temporary files, log files and duplicates. The Duplicate Finder lets you get rid of the all the duplicate files that are found on the system. It also includes some other utilities like a System Information tool, auto run manager, tool to find CRC etc.

The application combines several important utilities into a single application. You might want to give this a try if you want to perform the above functions on your Computer. It is a freeware and runs on XP and Vista
