ESET SysInspector provides useful System Information

23 May 2009 No Comment

ESET SysInspector is a free and powerful diagnostic tool for Windows Systems. It scans the operating system and shows you details about the running processes, registry content, start-up items and network connections. After scanning the operating system, a risk level is assigned to each level logged so that users can easily examine high risk objects.

The GUI is very intuitive. All the information is represented into different sections called nodes. To find additional information about anything, each node can be expanded into sub nodes. The details of each node is shown in the description window. Additional information about each object is provided in the details window. You can get information about network connections, running processes, services, drivers, registry, critical files, system information and file details. All the log entries are provided a colour code based on there risk level. It uses an Integrated Anti-Stealth technology for discovering hidden objects like root kits in MBR, registry entries, drivers, services and processes.

The information can be really helpful for system or IT administrators for diagnosing the problem and looking at the critical areas. It runs on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
