AvancePaint is a Microsoft Paint replacement

AvancePaint is a free Paint program and a very good replacement for the default Paint program that comes with Windows. The program has got a nice user interface with all the major tools arranged on the left side and the colour palette arranged on the right side. It is an ideal program for beginners as well as Advanced users as it has functions which can suit both the requirements.

You can open and work with any number of files and it supports JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, WMF, ICO, DIB, PNG formats. The program also features a detailed editing mode and one can also draw advanced Bezier curves and polygons. You can directly import images into it from your scanner and webcam and it can also saves JPEG, GIF images with selectable compression and transparent colour settings. It also includes more than 20 photo realistic filters and more than 40 tiles to give artistic touch to your images. You can also create your own effects using VB and any other languages. Some of its other features are

  • Draw rectangles, circles, elliptical filled or not, borders, rounded rectangles, arrows, 3D-borders
  • Freehand drawing with selectable brushes
  • Size and crop any image or parts of an image
  • Colour replace
  • and lots more…

The program is a freeware and runs on all the version of Windows.
