Calculate File Checksum with Marxio File Checksum Verifier

Marxio File Checksum Verifier is a freeware which enables you to calculate and verify the Checksum of the files which are downloaded from the Internet. A Checksum is string of characters which can be used to verify the integrity of the file. If the file changes because of a virus or any other thing, the Checksum changes. Using this small utility, you can generate the checksum of a file and compare it with an earlier value.

To use this application, simple drag and drop a file into it from Windows Explorer. It supports all major checksum types including CRC32, MD4, MD5, SHA1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, RIPEMD-128, RIPEMD-160, HAVAL 256 and TIGER 192. Checksum can be copy/pasted from the clipboard and can also be saved along with file. The program offers context menu integration and it also supports very large files greater than 32GB. The program is portable and requires no installation and can be run directly from the executable file.


The program is a freeware and you can take it with you on a USB disk. The program runs on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
