Capture and Edit Screenshots with SnagIMG

25 June 2009 One Comment

As a blogger,i have to take a lot of screenshots for posting them on the blog. There are a lot of Screenshots taking software that i have mentioned in the blog including Greenshot, Prtscr and Screenshot Captor. SnagIMG is a print screen (PrtScr) utility that increases your options when taking a screenshot using the Print Screen hotkey.

The program quietly sits in the system tray and can be easily disabled if you don’t want to use it. When you press PrtScr or ALT+PrtScr on your keyboard to take the screenshot, you are presented with a selection of choices of what to do with the screenshot that you have just taken. You can do things like opening the Screenshot in the editor of your choice, uploading it to ImageShack with just a click, save it and copy it to the clipboard. The program can start automatically on System start-up and Supports png, jpg, gif and bmp format. It also contains a Crop tool, Blur Tool and Rotate Tool to work with the screenshot.

The program is a freeware and runs on Windows XP/Vista/7. It requires .Net Framework 2 and above to work.
