Check LCD Screen for Dead Pixels with IsMyLcdOK

10 July 2009 No Comment

IsMyLcdOK is a simple and free program which can help you to find dead pixels on your LCD screen. It can quickly check for dead, paralyzed and stuck pixels on the LCD monitor. The program is very small in size and its usage is pretty simple.

The program is portable, requires no installation and can be executed directly. On running it, it will cycle through a series of full screen tests that include a paint stress test, solid colours, gradients, vertical/horizontal lines etc. All these tests are designed to isolate damaged and dead pixel areas. Once the bad pixels are spotted, they can be fixed.

The program is a freeware and runs on all version of Windows. It is just 8Kb in size.
