Protect Browsers From Keyloggers with KeyScrambler Personal

21 July 2009 2 Comments

KeyScrambler Personal is a browser plug-in for web browsers that prevents the key loggers from capturing the data that is typed into the login boxes of web based email services and other input fields. When we type on the keyboard, the keys travel along a path within the operating system before  arriving at the browser. Key loggers plant themselves along this path and observe and record the keystrokes which is then sent to the criminals who can use it for illegal purposes. KeyScrambler Personal can protect you from such key loggers.

KeyScrambler protects from key loggers by encrypting the keystrokes at the keyboard driver level, deep within the operating system. KeyScrambler decrypts the keystrokes when they reach the browser so we see the text we have typed. If there are any key logger applications running, it will only be able to record the encrypted keys which are completely indecipherable. It also displays a small overlay window on top of your browser screen that verifies that your keystrokes are being encrypted. The program protects you automatically when you launch the browser. It is very easy to use.

The personal edition works only with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Flock browser. The paid professional versions come with additional features and support for many browsers.
