Scan Storage Devices with HDD Scan

HDDScan is a freeware utility for storage devices diagnostics (HDD, RAID, Flash). The program can scan storage device for Bad-blocks, show S.M.A.R.T. attributes and change some HDD parameters such as AAM, APM, etc.

The devices that this program supports include ATA/SATA HDD, SCSI HDD, USB HDD, FireWire or IEEE 1394 HDD, RAID volumes made of ATA/SATA/SCSI HDDs and USB Flash for surface tests. The program can perform a variety of Storage device and SMART tests on your Storage devices. It also generates a report and you can know all about the Bad Sectors if they are present. The Storage device tests include Verification in Linear mode, Reading in Linear mode, Erasing in Linear mode and Reading in Butterfly mode. The program can Read and analyze S.M.A.R.T. parameters from ATA/SATA/USB/FireWire HDD and can also perform Temperature monitoring. You can also use it to change AAM, APM, PM parameters on ATA/SATA/USB/FireWire HDD. The reports can be printed and saved in mht format. It also includes command line support.

The program is a freeware and works on Windows.
