Get Status of Num Lock, Caps Lock keys on System tray with TrayStatus
TrayStatus is a freeware which shows the status of the Num lock, Caps lock and scroll lock keys in the taskbar notification area. If you use a notebook or you have a keyboard without an indicator light for the caps lock or num lock keys, this program is just for you.
Apart from the status of the keys, the program also shows the current read/write hard disk activity. The current read/write speed is also shown as a tooltip when you move your mouse over the icon. The program displays 4 separate icons in the notification area. You can also enable or disable the icons based on the preferences that you like.
The program is a freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

At first I was like.. ok this program is not that useful but than the more that I thought about it, it actually is, especially like you mentioned if there is no lights, you can use this as an indicator!

This is great for laptops like you mentioned with out the light. It gets annoying not knowing if the caps is on or not and with this freeware you can now tell. Thanks for sharing it.
At first I was like.. ok this system is just not that practical but than the additional that I thought about it, it actually is, in particular like you mentioned if there is no lights, you are able to use this as an indicator!
