Webonise Lab Announce Indian Android Developers Contest



Webonise Lab, an emerging web and mobile development company based out of Pune, India is launching an India centric Android app store called ‘AppBazar’. The AppBazar will contain a variety of apps which will be catering to Indian taste and will be made available in Vernacular language.

AppBazar is likely to hit the market somewhere around April. To mark the beginning, the company is organizing an “Indian Android Developer Contest” to encourage Android developers to develop applications for the Indian market. The registration for the contests are open and anyone can register for free. The different categories include Masala Apps, Games, Travel, Lifestyle etc. The only eligibility criteria is for the application to be “Indian” centric. After registration, developers can start uploading there application from 26th Feb till 26th March. There are lot of cash prizes up for grabs including Rs 25,000 cash prize for the winning apps. The winning apps will also be featured in the AppBazar.

The applications will be judged based on different parameters like usability, design, idea, popularity along with some rounds of voting. The final prize winners will be announced on 22nd April. To know more and for registration Visit Mobinise.
