Many of us must have disabled the default Windows Vista UAC on our system due to its irritating nature. Even though it is a good security measure to have User Account Panel, no ones likes to get disturbed for simple actions. But since there are a lot of malicious programs that can harm our system, disabling UAC creates a security risk. Smart UAC is very nice alternative to Vista’s default UAC. It replaces your Vista’s UAC with something that is more secure, configurable and less irritating.

Today when I tried creating a New Folder in Windows Vista, I saw that the option was missing from the right click “New” menu. I tried creating it through the explorer by going to “Organize – New Folder”. This option was there but it was doing nothing. I was able to successfully able to create a folder through DOS but that is not something you prefer.

This is an interesting hack for Vista through which you can enable “Slow Motion” animation that will work if you are holding the “shift” key while minimizing , maximizing , closing a window.
