Pappu Pass Ho gaya

My 4th sem results came out yesterday and i manged to get a SGPA of 6.4 which is equivalent to 69-70% . So i am quite happy with my performance but with a little more effort i could have done better , but atleast i am eligible for sitting in the placements process for all the companies . From next semester onwards , i will have mainly computer subjects (no maths , electronics - really hated those ) and i think i will be able to do better in them .

  • Mission Impossible 3 Review

The exams are over and there is no better way to spend the hot summer than watching movies . We have got a loads of blockbuster movies releasing this summer and the first one i decided to watch was MI3 . It is not yet released here but thanks to Ashwin for his info on torrents that i was able to get this movie . ok….Now about the movie , let IMDB explain the story to you .

Super-spy Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has retired from active duty to trains new IMF agents. But he is called back into action to confront the toughest villain he’s ever faced - Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman), an international weapons and information provider with no remorse and no conscience. Hunt assembles his team - his old friend Luther Strickell (Ving Rhames), transportation expert Declan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), and background operative Zhen (Maggie Q), to rescue one of his very own trainees, Lindsey (Keri Russell) who was kidnapped while on a surveillance detail of Davian. It soon becomes evident that Davian is well-protected, well-connected, and downright malicious, forcing Hunt to extend his journey back into the field in order to rescue his wife, Julia (Michelle Monaghan), and uncover IMF double agents in the process.

The story was good and well- paced , action sequences were good , but somehow the ending didnt appel to me . The movie provides a twist in the ending which was quite predictable . If you liked MI2 , you will like it but the fans of MI-1 will be dissapointed . I didnt find anything that kept me entertained just like in the original MI .

    Score : 3/5

    Exams Time Again

My end semester exams starts from tomorrow and so i will be very busy with them . I got to do well in these as my placements starts from next year and so i must have a good GPA . 6 papers in 10 days , thats a pretty bad schedule for final exams if you ask me , but anyways , it will get over soon and after that i will be back home , free for 2 months . So i wont be posting anything here before 21st . I will definately try to visit other blogs if i get time but i cant be sure . DO bear with me and wish me Luck .

  • Virtual Drives : Alcohol 120% Vs Daemon Tools

Virtual Drives have become quite popular over the last few years. It allows you to keep you expensive CD/DVD in a locker to prevent damage and still use it by making a image and mounting it . They also run faster than our normal drives. So this thing has made it quite popular among the PC users who love to play games. They also serve as no-cd patches which are sometimes questionable when it comes to legal issues.

Its working is not so difficult. First you need a image of the CD/DVD saved to your hard drive. Then you need to create a virtual drive using any of the software available out there and mount the image into it. CD/DVD images can take a lot of space on your hard drive but it is a little thing compared to what you can lose if you damage your original CD/DVD which costs a hell lot of Money.
