I am not an expert blogger . I have been blogging for around a year and have made a lot of mistakes along the way , but the good thing is that i always try to learn from my mistakes . There are a lot of things which i could have done diffrently along the way . Here i am going to mention a single one.

Earlier while writing a post , i didnt include any media contents such a images or videos in my post. Initially it didnt matter much but now when i think about it i feel that it made my blog posts look a little bit dull . Now as a reader a do feel that incorporating images or videos that is relevant to the post helps capture the reader’s attention as well as imagination , and it also makes the site look good . Now i have tried to correcr this and m recent posts and will continue to get rid of this mistake .

Viper’s Video Quicktags is a plugin for Wordpress that creates various quicktags / WYSIWYG buttons for inserting self-hosted videos (AVI , MPG , FLV , WMV ) as well as website hosted videos (Youtube , Google Video , IFILM ) into our wordpress blog . In Wordpress 2.1 you will need to disable the Visual Rich text editor or else the buttons will not be visible .

After uploading and activating the plugin , the write post/page will appear along with the following buttons as shown below

Just click on any button and you will get a window like

Just click Ok and you are done . The only drawback is that you have to disable the Rich text editor for the buttons to appear in WP 2.1 . Hope a new version is released soon .

Its Official now , the Sony Playstation 3 will be officialy launched in India on 27th April , 2007 . The model that will be available is the 60Gb one and it will cost around Rs 39,900 .

A range of games from the companies like Electronic Arts , Namco etc will be available . The games will be priced at Rs 2999 . The titles initially scheduled for line up are Resistance : Fall of Man , Ridge Racer , NFS Carbon , The Godfather etc .

Now lets hope the line up goes as it is planned . It is good to see consoled such as XBOX 360 and PS3 being officialy released in India but i am a bit skeptical about the price of PS3 . With the Xbox 360 being available at around Rs 23000 - Rs 27000 , i dont think much people will go for PS3 . What do you guys think ?

For all the spidey fans . Here is the trailer from the latest game Spiderman 3 which is the based on the movie . The gameplay looks damn good compared to the graphics .

The word ‘Wiki’ is now an official English Word . The word which was originally born in Pacific Island of Hawaii is finally going to be included in the Oxford English dictionary along with 287 others .

According to the chied editor of Oxford Dictionary

Words are included in the dictionary on the basis of the documentary evidence that we have collected about them. A while ago this evidence suggested that wiki was starting to make a name for itself

But ‘Wiki Wiki’ which means ‘quick’ in Hawaiian is going to have a diffrent meaning in the dictionary . It will be a type of Web page designed so that its contents can be edited by anyone who accesses it .
