Thanks for the info, Madhur. I’m gonna try this out.
Nice tips, its worth trying.
IrfanView is freeware and you can batch resize as many images as you want.
Looks like a good one….how is the quality after resizing? Is it good??
@Shankar, off topic….why have you commented with the name of Madhur Kapoor???
Good post Madhur - I use FastStone’s image resizer tool, which is freeware here: http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm
Irfanview is nice as well, but for some odd reason, I can’t get over the dated interface (I know I’m superficial!).

hey,
You do not need a seperate software download to just resize your images in batch. I have been using a nifty tool called irfanView which is light weight, and powerful like a monster, like the King Kong!!
I bet you will throw away all your other image viewers, and be addited to iView!!
Check out how to use iView to resize and rename your pictures in a batch!! - here is the article!!
I would agree with Jim. I would like to have irfanview to do this task.
As Jim Zim said, Irfan View is the way to go. Its a freeware. It allows batch image processing i.e. resizing, changing formats etc.
