Super Sunday Links Episode 5
By Madhur Kapoor on Mar 30, 2008 in Speed Links
The big news of this week is the release of Wordpress 2.5which brings together a lot of exciting features. A lot of you must have already upgraded your Wordpress installations to the latest versions. Do share in comments how your experience has been so far. Any issues which you have faced? As for me, i will wait for a few days before upgrading. In the mean time, do enjoy these wonderful posts by my wonderful friends.
- DjFlush has recently shifted to Ubuntu and he gives you 10 reasons why Ubuntu is better than Windows
- In view of the Earth Hour, LyteByte has a nice post which tells you how to switchoff your monitor after specified time of non usage in order to save electricity
- Nirmal has written a great post about a list of transformations pack for Windows and Linux
- Shankar Ganesh tells us about some essential and free Windows software
- TechZilo tells us about a site called Quotably which shows Twitter conversations in a threaded format
There are a lot of Advertising opportunities available at this site. And for the month of April, they will all be available at a discount of 50% . Just look at the Advertise pageand do the calculations yourself. A great way to get some extra exposure at a cheap price.
Thanks for the link, Madhur. I’m glad you found Quotably useful.
I’ve ditched it for the moment, though - the algorithm is dumb and unrelated tweets often show up in threads.
