Adobe has released the beta version of there Adobe AIR for Linux. AIR is a cross platform runtime using which developers can create rich Internet applications which just sit on your desktop.
The list of distributions which it supports are Ubuntu 7.10, Fedora 8and OpenSuse 10.3. The Linux version has almost all the features except support for DRM and badge installations. There is now support for system tray, keyboard shortcuts, localization multi-monitor support etc.
AIR has become very famous since it was launched with applications such as Twhirl becoming quite famous. The Linux version can be downloaded from here.
Cool.. Now I can use Adobe AIR at college too..
Will this be supported in other distros of linux which are not in that list you mentioned??
