The highly versatile and open source VLC media player has launched the 0.9.2 version. The new version features a brand new interface. Many new codecs, protocols have been added for video playback and it now supports more formats.
The playlist has also been improved in addition to the new media library. The playlist now supports Live Searching, Album Art, better metadata tagging. You can also play the videos from Youtube, Dailymotion, Google Video on it just by directly pasting the URL. Some new audio and video filters have also been added. It is one of the most popular media player which can play almost every format.
Well I’ll try this new version, as it looks like it has great features and a far more better default skin. I changed 6 months ago from VLC to IVIVO media player.

I really like VLC. I haven’t downloaded this yet but I plan to soon. I hope it corrects the fast forwarding problem I was having. When ever I would move forward, VLC would crash. Well, it would get fussy sometimes with screenshots too but at least it takes screenshots.
