Manage Your iPod with Floola
By Madhur Kapoor on Dec 16, 2008 in Windows
If you love your iPod but hate managing it with iTunes, then there are several Alternatives for you to try out. Floola is a free and standalone iPod manager using which you can copy, view and organize the contents of your iPod without the need for iTunes.
It is also portable and requires no installation. So you can run it directly from your iPod also. It can be used to copy content and songs to and from iPod, create and manage playlists, find duplicate songs, manage podcast subscriptions and iPod notes. It even converts any incompatible audio file so that we can copy anything using it. We can even add artwork to our songs, add lyrics, add videos from sites such as Youtube.
It supports all the version of Windows, Linux as well as Mac.
I am one of those people that can’t stand iTunes. I’m currently using Winamp to manage my iPod. I tried floola at one time but it wouldn’t run properly, although I can’ remember why. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

I can’t remember what i used. It screwed up my ipod and i lost my songs. Plus, i had to download itunes and format the damn thing. i can’t trust those anymore. as for winamp it used to crash alot but i guess it had the beta ipod support back then. God, why can’t it be a simple device on your machine. grrr
BTW: keep them coming man i will try this and i am keen on trying many more till i find the one
