Snaplr is a freeware using which you can quickly take screenshots of your desktop activity. The program doesn’t offer much features as many other similar programs, but it is still a good option for those who are looking for some basic functionality.

The program is quite simple to use. You can specify the area of the screen that you want to capture. The program also allows you to add some annotations to the image. You can add text, arrow, rectangle, circle, pencil etc if you want to highlight some specific portion of the screenshot. The modified image can then be copied on to the clipboard or saved to the computer as a PNG file. You can also paste the screenshot as an outlook attachment.

The program is a freeware and runs on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OSX. It also requires Adobe AIR.
