Christmas is around the corner and there is no better way to spend the holidays than watching movies at home with your family , friends or GirlFriend ..

Here i am mentioning 5 movies which are worth watching during Xmas time .. everyone might have there own fav but this one is my recommendations ..

1) It’s a wonderful life

One of my all time favourite movies , it is a great movie to watch with your family , highlights the true spirit of Xmas … The movie shows the events in the life of a man who is frustated with life and how an angel helps him in overcoming that frustation by showing him events which would have taken place had he never existed . A wonderful movie to watch with your family ..

2)Home Alone

I saw this movie as a kid and i would love to see it again and again . There are sequels to this movie and you might consider watching Home Alone 2 also but i didnt like 3 & 4th that much . The movie shows a kid who gets left behind at home while his family leave for vacation , and how he protects the house from two thieves in there absence . Story

2006 :Sandra Bullock takes up a job at a Chicago hospital leaving behind a Lake House which she has been renting . She leaves a note in the mail box for the new tenant asking him to forward her mails and inform him about the paw prints .

Keanu Reeves , an architect who is next tenant , reads the letter but sees something different than what Sandra has written . There is now paw prints and the house looked as if no one has lived in it for years . He doesn’t pay much attention to the notes and restores the house which was a gift from his father as a present for his mother .

A few days later , things change when a dog runs through some paint and leaves the paw print just where Sandra had told him about . Thus the excitement continues , as they discover that they both have the same dog and after some more exchange of letters he tells her that he is living in 2004 . After some more exchange of letters , they both become convinced that there is a time gap of 2 years between the two . Thus the story continues as they try to bridge the mysterious gap .

Now some people may find the story to be a bit confusing . Even when I first about the story , I was also quite amazed that how can such a thing happen but still it is a great movie to watch . Some interesting facts to know are 1) Sandra is living in 2006 2) Keanu is living in 2004 . 3) Sandra’s character exists in 2004 time period . The fact that Sandra can tell Keanu where she was in 2004 and Keane can go and see her but the 04 version of Sandra has no clue of who is Keanu makes the movie more interesting. Like there was an incident in which Sandra asks Keanu to get a book which she left in the railway station in 2004 and Keane gets it back for her . Really it is not that confusing . Just concentrate and you will get to it .

About the story , I think it could have been improved . The most frustrating thing is that we are never really told why was there a time gap between the two. But just get this thing out of your mind and you will enjoy the movie . The performance of Keanu and Sandra are also good . I am a huge fan of Romantic movies and so I liked it very much even though the pace of the movie will appear to be slow to some people . People who like romantic movies will just adore the film as it is quite different from the typical movies we have.

Now if you are willing to give your whole attention to this movie for 110 minutes will certainly enjoy this . While for the people who don’t like romantic movies, just consider this as a Mystery and you will watch with interest.

As for the rating I give it 7/10

Judging by the trailer the movie promises to be better than the 2nd part . The trailer shows footage of some of the enemies or maybe even a darker side of Spider man , i wont be revealing more , check it out your self .

The exams are over and there is no better way to spend the hot summer than watching movies . We have got a loads of blockbuster movies releasing this summer and the first one i decided to watch was MI3 . It is not yet released here but thanks to Ashwin for his info on torrents that i was able to get this movie . ok….Now about the movie , let IMDB explain the story to you .

Super-spy Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has retired from active duty to trains new IMF agents. But he is called back into action to confront the toughest villain he’s ever faced - Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman), an international weapons and information provider with no remorse and no conscience. Hunt assembles his team - his old friend Luther Strickell (Ving Rhames), transportation expert Declan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), and background operative Zhen (Maggie Q), to rescue one of his very own trainees, Lindsey (Keri Russell) who was kidnapped while on a surveillance detail of Davian. It soon becomes evident that Davian is well-protected, well-connected, and downright malicious, forcing Hunt to extend his journey back into the field in order to rescue his wife, Julia (Michelle Monaghan), and uncover IMF double agents in the process.

The story was good and well- paced , action sequences were good , but somehow the ending didnt appel to me . The movie provides a twist in the ending which was quite predictable . If you liked MI2 , you will like it but the fans of MI-1 will be dissapointed . I didnt find anything that kept me entertained just like in the original MI .

Watched the movie Just Like Heaven starring Resse Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo . It is a wonderfully acted Romantic , comedy movie.

Elizabeth Masterson (Witherspoon) is a dedicated, workaholic doctor who is way to busy for a life. One night, she gets into a horrible car accident and becomes a spirit stuck between heaven and earth. She doesn’t know she’s dead and thinks nothing has happened until she meets David Abbot (Ruffalo), a lonely architect, who rents her old apartment. David thinks he’s crazy by seeing Elizabeth’s spirit and tries all ways to get rid of her, but she just won’t go away. Although the two are complete opposites they somehow may just form a relationship

Ruffalo and Witherspoon have a great chemistry and the script of the movie is also good. What i loved about the film is Elizabeth’s and david progression from Animosity to affection . At first they hate each other but slowly they began to rely on each other and fall in love . He beacme dedicated while trying to help her get her spirit back to her body .

The Movie is diffrent from the other romantic movies as it features a man falling in love with the spirit but the charecters are well played and it is quite fun to watch .
